In the quest to continually improve the quality of services, instructors and training centers, the American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) has unveiled a live instructor status tool that allows users to check on the status of the institute's training centers and instructors.
The quality assurance (QA) tool is now featured on www.ashinstitute.org . It is accessible by anyone who visits the site and it's easy to use. Click on the "Quality Assurance" button along the top row of red buttons, click on the "Search Training Center/Instructor" link, type in the name of a training center or instructor and the QA tool displays its authorization status. Users can also offer feedback about instructors and training centers with a "Rate Your Program" tool and file written complaints about Instructors or training centers using a complaint form.
"Protecting the integrity of our training centers and our instructors is of utmost importance," says ASHI President Frank Swiger. "Our programs, corporate staff, training centers and Instructors are all held to high standards. Our innovative new QA tool is just one more way ASHI continues to raise the bar on industry-leading, high-quality training."
ASHI seeks to continually improve safety and health education by promoting high standards for our members; principles of sound research for curriculum development; and the professional development of safety and health instructors worldwide.
