Tips for Getting Management’s Approval to Attend CPM
Convince your manager to approve your attendance at CPM 2008 EAST - help him/her understand the value of the conference, how your organization will benefit and why it makes sense to spend money to send you.

Here are a few tips:

• Select sessions that are relevant to your organization.
• Identify a backup person or procedure to cover in your absence.
• Prepare an estimate of the costs to attend.
• Put your request in writing, even if in an email.
